Following the launch of its NRH280DP dual-output ‘non contact’ rotary position sensor in 2010, Penny + Giles has expanded its range with the introduction of a dual redundant output version.
Operating from a 5Vdc supply, the NRH285DR has two independent power supplies and outputs that enable full redundancy from a low-profile housing measuring just 6.5mm – making it one of the thinnest available.
Penny + Giles, designer and manufacturer of high reliability position sensors for the motorsport industry, will be launching a range of new contactless Hall-effect linear and rotary position sensors, at Professional Motorsport World Expo 2010.
Many of the new sensors incorporate a factory programmable Hall effect sensor that provides two outputs, each of which can be programmed individually for angular range, output range and direction.
